Shivia Microfinance is a Charity that does not look to generate profit from interest rates. Interest incurred on loans will be recycled back into the Shivia's fund. Both financial and in kind (computers etc) donations are welcome.

We also believe it is important to provide training skills for the local recipients so that they can manage the funds they are given and in some cases learn skills that will make them self sustainable. To do this we will partner with local NGOs, communities and International Development Institutions to provide the necessary assistance.

Our ethos is that we will work with communities with long-term sustainable visions and goals. These are communities who we have been working with already for a long time, who have a track record of social entrepreneurship and who align with Shivia’s values and integrity. We are dedicated to avoid unnecessary administration and bureaucracy and will always provide transparency.
